Founder
Portland Flea was born from Kate’s passion for interior design, her commitment to reuse, and decades of experience in marketing and events. What started as a creative side project quickly grew into a beloved community space celebrating vintage, design, and small business. A Portland native, you can find Kate deep in design projects in the home she shares with her husband and son.
Caitlin Ellis
Market DIRECTOR
Caitlin brings extensive experience in operations, team leadership, and community building. With a background in both the design and events worlds, she’s passionate about streamlining systems and supporting creative communities. Originally from the East Coast, Caitlin now lives in Southeast Portland with her husband and two sons.
Keirsten Smyth
Market MANAGER
Keirsten brings deep love of vintage, a heart for community, and a talent for making things run smoothly. As Market Manager, she’s the on-the-ground lead on event day and the go-to support for vendors—coordinating logistics, answering questions, and keeping things on track. She lives in Southeast Portland with her partner and two daughters, who often join her at the Flea, lending a hand and sharing in the fun.
